It's Time to Ski

Each year, when Halloween passes, the leaves fall, and the nights get colder, there is one thing that begins to creep its' way into my brain more and more: ski season. I've been skiing since I was three, when my father strapped me into two foot long plastic skis and taught me on a tiny slope in my backyard in Connecticut.
I've spent countless winter days and nights with friends and family at various New England ski resorts, including Okemo Mountain Resort, which will always be like a second home to me. Now that I live in San Diego, I have the opportunity to cross something off the bucket list; ski West for the first time, and shred places like Big Bear, Mammoth and Tahoe.

Part of ushering in the ski season for me has been seeing the new Warren Miller film each year. I was ecstatic to see that Warren Miller, the father of ski films, put out a new film this year, as he has done for the past 50 years. The film will be premiering all over the country in the coming weeks, and I'll be seeing it out here in Southern California. For all you fellow New Englander's, you've got some chances to see it near you. Take a peek at the trailer for ...Like There's No Tomorrow below, and check out the tour stops HERE. And get out there and shred the gnar this winter.
